Blackjack's Myth

Blackjack is one of the most interesting games inside the casino. There are myths involving this game. However if you think you believe all those myths, think again.

Let's discuss eight of these myths in blackjack. If you believe in these eight, you will lose your money. Read the myths below and learn from the mistakes of others and don't follow their error.

First on the myths list is, players used to believe that they should have cards as near as 21 as possible. This is the not goal of blackjack. The player's objective is to simply beat the dealer. The best scheme of the player is to stand when advantageous and where the next card will harm the dealer more than help the player.

Myth number two, players with bad vibes can make you lose. This is false thinking. The consequences of your actions depend on you alone. A player can not blame others if he loses. No bad people can make a player lose.

Yet there are annoying and borish players that might affect the entire game. But it has been proven that no one can really affect the winning and losing and one has only ones self to hold accountable.

The third myth of blackjack: the blackjack player should take insurance. This third myth is the silliest myths of all. Insurance can take out 13 percent of the total profit the blackjack can pay the winning player.

Myth number four: The dealer is raging. Theoretically speaking the rules are simple, if you are winning, the composition of the deck favors you but if you are on the losing streak the deck is definitely not in your favor.

Dealers are only doing their job. They don't have to make choices but they are strictly abiding the rules handed out to them by the casino. But the players on the other hand has a different set up. Players can choose his decision and only he can determine of how his game will be successful.

The fifth on the list of myth is when the player leaves the table without finishing the game this will make other players lose. This is another false belief. No one can make you lose but your own doing.

The sixth has something to do with hope, in this case lots of hope. For instance when the dealer has won twelve consecutive times and the player hasn't won any games yet. He still hopes and believes that he will win soon.

Myth number seven: The card deuce of the dealer is the most advantageous card of all. This is not true.

Last of the blackjack myths is the card number 9. Players of blackjack often believed that he should not split 9. Don't beat on this. The player will lose a small amount if he split the 9's.

Myths from the word itself are non-reliable source of belief. Players inside the casino should not believe in those myths. The actual winning and losing of the player depends on his luck, skill and of course chance.
